Welcome to Enfield Adult Education

Enfield Adult Education Classes

NEW - GED Counseling & Practice Tests Tuesdays - 12:00pm-3:00pm at Alcorn School.   Call the Adult Education Office for additional times if unable to come on a Tuesday.  Prior to registering for the exam, students should complete practice tests in all four subject areas.   The cost of each practice test is $6.  This fee will be waived to students who are enrolled in Enfield Adult Education programs for a minimum number of hours.   To register for the 2016 test go to www.GED.com; click on "Register Today."  Connecticut Statute requires all students to meet with an Adult Education counselor prior to scheduling their GED exam. 


GED Preparation Classes, beginning September 26, 2016, Monday - Friday at Alcorn School from 9:00am - 11:00am and Monday & Wednesday evenings from 6:30pm - 8:30pm.   GED Science at Fermi High School on Thursdays by appointment.

GED Learning Labs, Starting September 26, 2016, Mondays - Fermi HS Room D214 - All Subjects - 4:30pm-6:30pm; Tuesday & Thursdays - Alcorn Room 205 - All Subjects - 9:00am - 11:00am; Wednesdays - Alcorn Room 205 - Social Studies/English - 6:30pm - 8:00pm;  Thursdays - Fermi HS Room D218 - Math - 5:30pm - 8:00pm.

Enfield Adult and Continuing Education offers a Certified Nurse's Aide Training Program (CNA) beginning September 2016.  Want to enter the field but need help in reading, math or language? - We can help.  Do you need a high school diploma? - We can help.
